Interim President of the Board
Dr. Paige Hudson
Dr. Paige Hudson is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Tennessee with a Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision. She has served on the Board of Directors for Tennessee Healthcare Campaign (THCC) since 2023, bringing with her over a decade of experience in behavioral health and clinical leadership. She currently oversees all clinical programming for a non-profit behavioral health agency. With extensive experience in community mental health, clinical supervision, and program development, Dr. Paige brings a strong commitment to advancing mental health initiatives. In her free time, she enjoys spending time in nature, adventuring to new places, and connecting with family and friends.

Retired Family Nurse Practitioner. Practiced in multiple safety-net settings in East Tennesse for three decades. Long term THCC activist and supporter.

Lydia Dixon
Lydia is a doctoral student in public health, a Certified Clinical Research Professional (CCRP), and a healthcare advocate with over 15 years of experience committed to advancing health equity. As a Principal Clinical Research Associate, she supports the development of life-saving and life-changing therapies while upholding the highest standards of ethics, regulatory compliance, and inclusive research practices. Her academic training and professional work focus on addressing health disparities, improving access to care, and ensuring underserved and historically marginalized populations are meaningfully represented in healthcare decision-making. She bring a mission-driven, data-informed, and patient-centered perspective to nonprofit governance, supporting equitable policies, accountable leadership, and sustainable community impact.

Nadina Chavez
Nadina Chavez brings a wealth of experience and passion for community impact. Originally from Nicaragua, Nadina’s journey to the United States shaped her commitment to creating opportunities for others. With a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and over seven years at Schneider Electric, she has honed expertise in supply chain, inventory management, and organizational transformation. Beyond her corporate success, Nadina has led nonprofit initiatives, serving as Board President for the Hispanic Organization of Leaders and Achievers (HOLA) in Nashville. Her dedication to networking, event planning, and fundraising reflects her deep commitment to addressing critical issues such as access to care for undocumented and new Americans. Nadina’s story is one of resilience, leadership, and a vision for a more inclusive future.

Tracey T. Stansberry
Tracey T. Stansberry, PhD, MSN, APRN is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, College of Nursing, where she coordinates the Graduate Certificate in Health Policy Program. With nearly two decades of rural health care experience, her research and teaching focus on rural health equity, hospital closures, disaster preparedness, and the role of APRNs in underserved communities. She serves on multiple boards, including Big South Fork Medical Center’s Community Advisory Board, the Scott County Department of Health’s Advisory Board, and the Tennessee Health Care Campaign Board of Directors.

Mark S. Gaylord
Mark S. Gaylord, MD is Professor Emeritus of Pediatrics, Division of Neonatology at the University of Tennessee Medical Center, Knoxville, where he practiced as a neonatologist for 37 years. He served as Director of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Director of the East Tennessee Regional Perinatal Program, and Medical Supervisor of the neonatal nurse practitioners. A past president of the National Perinatal Association, Knoxville Pediatric Society, and East Tennessee Ronald McDonald House, he has long been active in statewide perinatal advisory committees and rural health initiatives. He currently serves on the Board of Tennessee Health Care Campaign. A Memphis native and UT alumnus, Dr. Gaylord remains dedicated to improving perinatal health across Tennessee.

Terre Holman
Terre Holman, LCSW, is a licensed clinical social worker and the founder of CDH Women’s Mental Health, a private practice providing virtual therapy services across Tennessee. Terre brings a broad and well-rounded clinical background, with professional experience in the Department of Children’s Services (DCS), as well as inpatient and outpatient mental health settings.
Terre specializes in working with women navigating grief and loss, anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, and challenges related to self-worth and boundaries. As a therapist, she offers compassionate, evidence-informed support to individuals processing loss in its many forms, helping clients move toward healing with intention and self-compassion.
In addition to her clinical work, Terre serves as a Field Instructor with Western Kentucky University (WKU), where she mentors and supports social work students in their professional development and clinical training. She is deeply committed to ethical practice, clinical excellence, and the ongoing education of future social workers.

Nawal Z. Kirmani
Nawal Z. Kirmani, LMSW, MHA brings a wealth of experience in healthcare advocacy, social work, and nonprofit leadership to the Tennessee Health Care Campaign. With a background spanning behavioral health liaison work for the Tennessee Department of Education, dialysis and transplant social work, and healthcare administration, Nawal has a deep understanding of the systemic challenges facing patients and communities. Her commitment to equity and accessibility is informed by both professional expertise and lived experience, including her advocacy for individuals with hearing loss. A former board member of Bridges for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing, Nawal is passionate about advancing inclusive, high-quality healthcare for all Tennesseans and looks forward to contributing her skills in strategic planning and rural health advocacy to THCC’s mission.
